November 18, 2009 Public Hearing - Comprehensive Plan
The Town Board of the Town of Auburn, Chippewa County, Wisconsin, by this resolution, adopted by a majority of the town board on a roll call vote with a quorum present and voting and proper notice having been given, resolves and orders as follows:
A public hearing to discuss the proposed Town of Auburn Comprehensive Plan and the adoption of an ordinance to adopt the comprehensive plan shall be held as provided in accordance with the following Notice of Hearing, which the town clerk shall publish by a class 1 notice under chapter 985, Wis. stats.:
NOTICE OF HEARING - TOWN OF AUBURN COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
A. A public hearing to discuss the proposed Town of Auburn Comprehensive Plan and the adoption of an ordinance to adopt the comprehensive plan shall be held at the Town Hall on Wednesday, November 18,2009, at 6:45 p.m.
B. The proposed comprehensive plan in summary contains the following items:
Introduction, Issues & Opportunities, Community Profile, Housing, Transportation, Utilities & Community Facilities, Agricultural, Natural & Cultural Resources, Economic Development, Existing Land Use, Future Land Use, Intergovernmental Cooperation, and Implementation.
C. Members of the Town of Auburn Plan Commission may be contacted prior to the hearing to provide additional information on the proposed comprehensive plan and ordinance by leaving a message at 715.568.5535 (voicemail is checked daily).
D. A copy of the comprehensive plan may be inspected prior to the hearing at the Town of Auburn Town Hall, 3826 State Highway 64, Bloomer, WI 54724.
E. A copy of the proposed comprehensive plan may be obtained prior to the hearing by contacting Judy Misner, Town Clerk, at townofauburn@bloomer.net or 715.568.5535 (voicemail is checked daily).
The town clerk shall properly post or publish this resolution as required under s. 60.80, Wis. stats.
