NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE GOVERNING MINIMUM SUBDIVISION REQUIREMENTS TOWN OF AUBURN NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held by the Plan Commission of the Town of Auburn. The purpose of the hearing is to solicit comments on the proposed repeal and readoption of a portion of the Town of Auburn Ordinance governing the requirements for all subdivisions within the Town. The Plan Commission is considering a recommendation to the Town Board that it correct the current language in the ordinance to reflect the original intent of the Town Board by repealing the current language in the ordinance and adopting new language, which would provide: No permit shall be issued for the erection or placement of more than one single family dwelling on any single allowed parcel or lot and no more than 4 dwellings on any contiguous 40-acre parcel should be permitted. A copy of the entire proposed ordinance will be on file and open for public inspection in the office of the Town Clerk for a period of two weeks prior to this public hearing. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 3826 State Highway 64, Bloomer, WI 54724. NOTICE MEETING OF THE TOWN OF AUBURN PLAN COMMISSION The Town of Auburn Plan Commission will meet on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. following the conclusion of the public hearing. The Plan Commission will discuss and make possible recommendations to the Town Board concerning the proposed repeal and readoption of the ordinance governing minimum subdivision requirements described above.
The Plan Commission will also discuss and seek public comment on certain elements of a Comprehensive Plan (Smart Growth Plan). The Town of Auburn has been engaging in a planning process that will lead to the development of a Comprehensive Plan for the township. The Comprehensive Plan is intended to guide the growth, development, and preservation of the township for the next twenty years. In order to create a comprehensive plan that better reflects the concerns and interests of its citizens, the Town encourages residents to attend and participate. The Plan Commission will not act on or approve any specific ordinances relative to this Comprehensive Plan at this meeting This meeting will focus on the future development and

utilization of intergovernmental cooperation with neighboring municipalities as well as implementation features of the comprehensive plan.
