September 8, 2010 Board Meeting Minutes
BOARD MEETING MINUTES
The Town Board of Auburn met on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 for their monthly meeting
at the Auburn Town Hall.
All were present plus Brent and Staci Martinson , who left at 7:38 pm.
The minutes of the August meeting were read. Jay Sippy made a motion to approve the minutes as read. Paul Scheidecker seconded the motion. Carried.
After auditing the bills and reviewing the financial statement Jay Sippy made a motion to authorize checks # 8096 -8122 be paid, and the financial report be approved. Paul Scheidecker seconded the motion. Carried.
In light of the deficit Leo Zeman made a motion to take $20,000.00from CD # 060 after it matures on September 25, 2010 and renew it for the best interest rate up to 18months. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried.
There was no public comment.
Concerning the property line issue, Paul Scheidecker made a motion to send a copy of the agreement to Beckers and give them up to two weeks to sign and return the copy, so we can then deternine if further action needs to be taken. If they do return the copy it will then be sent on to Mikls to sign., and kept on file at the Town Hall and each party will keep a copy as well. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried.
Jay Sippy made a motion we set the date for Fall Clean-Up for October 2, 2010, from 9am – 1 pm.
Paul Scheidecker seconded the motion. Carried.
After setting the agenda for the October meeting Jay Sippy made a motion that we adjourn the meeting. Paul Scheidecker seconded it. Meeting adjourned at 8:25 PM.
