October 13, 2010 Board Meeting Minutes
BOARD MEETING MINUTES
The Town Board of Auburn met on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 for their monthly meeting
at the Auburn Town Hall.
All the Board were present except for Paul Scheidecker. Also in attendance were Shawn Rauckman who left at 7:25; John and Claudia Cavanaugh, Bill Waldbuesser, Heather Andersen who all left at 7:20; Clarence Mikl, Rick and Jeanette Mikl and Staci Martinson , who all left at 7:55 pm; and Al Blaha and Allan Lindsley.
The minutes of the September meeting were read. Jay Sippy made a motion to approve the minutes as read. Leo Zeman seconded the motion. Carried.
After auditing the bills and reviewing the financial statement Jay Sippy made a motion to authorize checks # 8123 -8147 be paid, and the financial report be approved. Leo Zeman seconded the motion. Carried.
For public comment. Claudia Cavanaugh, Heather Andersen and Bill Waldbuesser all expressed concerns about the possibility of a sand mine operation. Their concerns involved the possibility of the quality of life and value of our properties being diminished. They also wanted more information available to them as to when and what the sand mine company is planning to do.
Since this was not an agenda item it was not possible for the Board to address their concerns at this meeting. Heather Andersen asked that the sand mine issue be on the agenda for the November meeting.
Concerning the property line agreement, since the Beckers did not sign the agreement at this point, it was agreed by the Board and the parties involved to have the property surveyed to establish were the easement comes in. ‘
Jay Sippy will fill out Paser Forms and send them in.
Leo Zeman made a motion to set the Budget Hearing Meeting for November 9, 2010 at 7 pm. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried.
Jay Sippy made a motion to accept the Bloomer Fire Department Mutual Aid Alarm Box Agreement and Resolution 10-13-2010. Leo Zeman seconded the motion. Carried.
After setting the agenda for the November meeting Jay Sippy made a motion that we adjourn the meeting. Leo Zeman seconded it. Meeting adjourned at 8:58 PM.
