BOARD MEETING MINUTES
The Town Board of Auburn met on Wednesday June 9. 2010 for their monthly meeting
at the Auburn Town Hall.
All were present plus, Steve Gehring, Michele Scheidecker,Jim Lewis, who left at 7:20, Marv Prestrud, who left at 7:35 and Lary Boese who left at 8:23PM.
The minutes of the May meeting were read. Jay Sippy made a motion to approve the minutes as read. Paul Scheidecker seconded the motion. Carried.
After auditing the bills and reviewing the financial statement Paul Scheidecker made a motion to authorize checks # 8055- 8068 be paid, and the financial report be approved. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried.
During public comment Jim Lewis and Marv Prestrud both presented their candidacy for election to the 67th Assembly.
The Dept of Revenue “Summary of Work Related Injuries” was filled out as well as the OBRA
Contract for Deferrred Comp..
After a bit of discussion it was decided to cash in CD # 14925 as it will be needed for road construction costs this summer. Jay Sippy made a motion to cash in CD # 14925 and Leo Zeman seconded the motion. Carried.
The renewal applications for liquor licenses were reviewed. Paul Scheidecker made a motion to approve the liquor license for Julie’s Roadhouse,LLC. with Timothy Heardon as agent pending his completion of agent application forms AT-103 and AT-104. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried.
The decision to approve the liquor license for White Birch Bar and Grill was tabled until further information could be obtained. This decision was made on Thurs June 10th at a Special Meeting.
Paul Scheidecker made a motion to hire Amercan Flex to crack seal 220thAv, & 10th &17th Streets
for a total of $2,871.00; and apply Ameri Flex to 52nd & 50th Streets for a total of $22,000.00. Also to hire Scott & Construction to seal 30th St from 250th Ave South to pole shed for a total of $17,684.00. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried.
After setting the agenda for the July meeting Jay Sippy made a motion that we adjourn the meeting. Leo Zeman seconded it. Meeting adjourned at 9:57 PM.
