January 14, 2009 Board Meeting Minutes
On January 14, 2009 the Auburn Town Board met for their monthly
meeting at the Town Hall. All were present plus Paul Sykora who left
at 7:35PM.
The meeting was called to order at 7:10PM by Chairman, Leo Zeman.
The minutes of the December meeting were read. Leo Zeman made a
motion at approve the minutes as read. Paul Scheidecker seconded the
motion. Carried.
For Public Comment Paul Sykora expressed his concerns about sand
mining. His basic concerns include the potential problems created
with air and water quality as well as the liability associated with
these things.
The Financial Report was reviewed and approved with a motion from
Jay Sippy and a second by Leo Zeman. Motion carried.
The bills were audited and checks # 7675-7704 were authorized for
payment with a motion by Paul Scheidecker and a second by Jay Sippy.
Carried.
The Deferred Comp beneficiary change form was explained for those who
desire to check on or change their beneficiaries.
There were no new agenda items for the February meeting.
Jay Sippy made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Leo Zeman seconded
it. Meeting adjourned at 8:40PM.
