December 10, 2008 Board Meeting Minutes
The Town Board of Auburn met on December 10, 2008 at the Town Hall
for their monthly meeting. The meeting was called to order at 7 pm
by Chairman, Leo Zeman. All were present plus Carmen Crotteau and
Dale Thompson of representative of Rural Insurance, who left at 7:20
pm and Kevin Ludwigson.
The minutes of the November meeting were read. Paul Scheidecker made
a motion to approve the minutes as read. Jay Sippy seconded the
motion. Carried.
Dale Thompson then reviewed the Town’s insurance policy with us, and
answered questions.
For public comment, Kevin Ludwigson asked about the Town’s
requirements concerning sand mining.
The financial report was reviewed and approved with a motion by Jay
Sippy and a second by Paul Scheidecker. Motion carried.
Bills were audited and checks # 7660-7674 were authorized for payment
with a motion by Paul Scheidecker and a second by Jay Sippy. Motion
carried.
Jay Sippy made a motion to set the caucus date for January 13, 2009
at 7 pm. Paul Scheidecker seconded the motion. Carried.
There were no new agenda items to add for next month.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 pm with a motion by Jay Sippy and a
second by Paul Scheidecker. Motion carried.
