August 17, 2011 BOARD MEETING MINUTES
BOARD MEETING MINUTES
The Town Board of Auburn met on Wednesday, August17, 2011 for their monthly meeting.
All the Board were present plus Lary Boese, Heather Anderson, Jeannette Mikl, Dennis Henry and Leo Zeman who left at 8:22. Gene Peterson left at 8:00pm.

The meeting was called to order at 7:04 PM.
The minutes of the July meeting were read. Al Blaha made a motion to approve the minutes as read. Kevin Ludwigson seconded the motion. Motion carried.
After reviewing the budget report and financial statement Al Blaha made a motion to approve the financial reports. Kevin Ludwigson seconded the motion. Carried. The bills were then audited and Kevin Ludwigson made a motion to approve payment of checks # 8350-8357. The motion was seconded by Al Blaha. Motion carried.
For public comment Heather Anderson expressed concern as to why the public hearing part was taken out of the Heavy Vehicle Use ordinance.
The correspondence was reviewed.
Kevin Ludwigson made a motion that we go with Solomon of Plank Construction of Colfax, WI contingent upon receipt of Insurance Certificate with the interlock shingle to repair the Town Hall roof. A second to this motion was made by Al Blaha. Motion carried.
Dennis Henry asked the Board for input concerning the New Auburn Fire Hall proposal. It was decided that Al Blaha and Dennis Henry would attend the Aug 18th meeting concerning this topic to get more information.
Al Blaha volunteered to call Randi Osberg concerning the Ordiance Book he is developing.
Kevin Ludwigson made a motion to set the date for the dumpster at the Town Hall for Saturday October 8, 2011 from 9 am – 1pm. Al Blaha seconded the motion. Carried.
After setting the agenda for the September meeting, Al Blaha made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Kevin Ludwigson seconded the motion. Meeting adjourned at 8:32pm.
