BOARD MEETING MINUTES
The Town Board of Auburn met on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 for their monthly meeting.
Those present were Leo Zeman, Jay Sippy, Gene Peterson, Judy Misner, Chad Philipps and Clinton Erks who left at 7:10 PM.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.
The minutes of the July meeting were read. Jay Sippy made a motion to approve the minutes as read. Leo Zeman seconded the motion. Carried.
After auditing the bills and reviewing the financial statement Leo Zeman made a motion to authorize checks # 7836-7852 to be paid, and the financial report be approved. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried.
Clinton Erks requested an extension of his building permit. Jay Sippy made a motion that Erks permit be extended. Leo Zeman seconded it. Carried.
Jay Sippy made a motion that we have Fahner crack seal 220th Ave, 52nd St., 40th St., for $2,500.00 and (BCI ?) Flex Patch 10th St for a max if $10,000.00 for a grand total of $12,500.00. Leo Zeman seconded it. Motion carried.
Jay Sippy made a motion to renew Chad’s contract until April, 2010. Leo Zeman seconded the motion. Carried.
It was decided that the correspondence to the town residents be a post card telling the date and time of the dumpster, no snow plowing from driveways across town roads, and the need for first responders.
After setting the agenda for the September meeting, Leo Zeman made a motion that we adjourn the meeting. Jay Sippy seconded it. Meeting adjourned at 8:10 PM.
