April 14, 2009 ANNUAL MEETING
ANNUAL MEETING MINUTES ~ 2009
The annual meeting was held on April 14, 2009 at the Auburn Town Hall. There were 16 people present. The meeting was called to order at 7:08 PM by Chairman, Leo Zeman.
The minutes of the 2008 annual meeting were read. Jay Sippy made a motion to approve the minutes as read. Paul Scheidecker seconded the motion. Carried.
After reviewing the financial statement and answering questions, the financial report was approved with a motion by Paul Scheidecker and a second by Jay Sippy. Motion carried.
Alden Berg made a motion to dispense with the reading of the Treasurer’s report. Wayne Pingel seconded the motion. Carried.
New business for this year included the fact that the Town is not planning to do any black-topping this summer; and the need for a fence to be put around the Town’s property per the contract agreement with Allisons.
As an addition to last year’s motion to no longer snowplow driveways, Dorothy Conrad
made a motion that it would be up to the Town’s discretion to make exceptions as it seems necessary in the case of an emergency; and that there will be a charge of $1.00/ minute for the use of the truck and a charge of $1.50/ minute for the use of the grader; also this decision must be approved by two Board members. Alden Berg seconded the motion. Motion carried with 16 ayes and 0 opposed.
Wayne Pingel made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Leo Zeman seconded it. Meeting was adjourned at 8:15PM.
