November 13, 2007 Board Meeting Minutes
BOARD MEETING MINUTES The Auburn Town Board met on November 13, 2007 at 5:30 PM for their monthly meeting. The meeting was called to order by Leo Zeman at 5:40 PM. All were present plus Butch Paulson, Randi Osberg and Tom Moos, who left at 5:55PM. The minutes of the October meeting were read. Jay Sippy made a motion to approve the minutes and Paul Scheidecker seconded it. Motion carried. Randi Osberg presented the code of ordinance #07-05. Paul Scheidecker made a motion to adopt ordinance # 07-05. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried. Butch Paulson presented a new assessor's contract to the Board. This contract would provide the necessary assessment work for 2008 through 2010. The work is to be done for the sum of $16,334.00 and to be paid $1,361.00 per quarter beginning January, 2008 and ending December of 2010. Jay Sippy made a motion to accept this contract and terms. Paul Scheidecker seconded the motion. Carried. The financial report was reviewed and discussed and bills audited. Checks # 7356-7373 were approved for payment with a motion by Jay Sippy and a second by Leo Zeman. Motion carried. Paul Scheidecker made a motion to charge $50 per trip for the truck and Chad for hauling blacktop and gravel in addition to the cost of the load. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried. After setting the agenda for the December meeting Paul Scheidecker made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:40 PM.
