September 11, 2007 Board Meeting Minutes
TOWN OF AUBURN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
On September 11, 2007 the Auburn Town Board met for the regular
monthly meeting.
All were present plus Richard Mohr, Chad Philipps, Al Blaha, Randi
Osberg and Gerald Nacke. Randi Osberg left at 7:35, Gerald Nacke at
7:40 and Chad Philipps and Richard Mohr at 7:50PM.
The minutes of the August meeting were read. Paul Scheidecker made a
motion to approve the minutes as read. Jay Sippy seconded the motion.
Carried.
After a brief interview with Randi Osberg, Leo Zeman made a motion
that we hire Randi as our lawyer to help with the legal wording of our
Land Use Planning document for $160/hour and not to exceed $5,000.
Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried.
Richard Mohr was given the floor during the public comment to express
his desire to see
towns take more control of enforcing liquor license requirements of
alcohol consumption.
Leo Zeman made a motion to approve payment of our final bill to
Monarch. Paul Scheidecker seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Bills were audited and checks # 7315-7335 approved for payment as
well as the financial report approved with the note that check # 7333
to Perfection Paving be corrected from $6886.20 to $4019.99 with a
motion by Leo Zeman and a second by Jay Sippy. Motion carried.
Paul Scheidecker made a motion to approve the building permit for
Chad and Wendy Lauterbach. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried.
The town letter was reviewed and changed to its finalized form. This
letter will be sent out by September 24, 2007.
The employee job description was put on hold until our next meeting.
A motion was made by Paul Scheidecker to accept the mobil home and
driveway ordinances contigent upon the lawyer's final approval. This
motion was seconded by Jay Sippy. Carried.
A motion to approve Bid Form 20-07 was made by Paul Scheidecker and
seconded by Jay Sippy. Motion carried.
Jay Sippy made a motion to approve the operator's license for Debi
Robinson. Paul Scheidecker seconded it. Motion carried.
After setting the agenda for the next meeting, Paul Scheidecker made
a motion to adjourn the meeting and Jay Sippy seconded it. Meeting
adjourned at 9:40 PM.
