September 9, 2008 Board Meeting Minutes
BOARD MEETING MINUTES The Town Board of Auburn met for their monthly meeting at the Town Hall on Septemeber 9, 2008. Chairman, Leo Zeman, called the meeting to order at 7:02PM. All were present plus Chad Philipps. The minutes of the August meeting were read. Paul Scheidecker made a motion to approve the minutes as read. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried. The financial report was reviewed. Bills were audited and checks # 7582-7605 were approved for payment with a motion by Jay Sippy and a second by Paul Scheidecker. Motion carried. Paul Scheidecker made a motion to purchase the skid steer for $13,300.00. Leo Zeman seconded the motion. Carried. A motion to accept the bid for blacktopping 250th Ave from Senn Blacktop Inc. was made by Jay Sippy and seconded by Paul Scheidecker. Motion carried. Paul Scheidecker made a motion to accept the bid from A-1 to grind 250th Ave for $1,230.84. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried. Jay Sippy made a motion to set the date for Fall Garbage collection for October 11, 2008 from 9 Am to 1 PM, and to hire Right Away Roll-Off. Paul Scheidecker seconded. Motion carried. After setting the agenda Paul Scheidecker and made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Jay Sippy seconded it. Meeting adjourned at 8:25PM. Submitted by Judy Misner page 16
