August 13, 2008 Board Meeting Minutes
BOARD MEETING MINUTES On August 13, 2008 the Auburn Town Board meet for their monthly meeting. All were present plus Lary Boese, Gerry Eder, Steve Prince, Chad Philipps, and Andy Beckel who arrived at 7:20PM. The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Leo Zeman at 7PM. The minutes were read. A motion to approve the minutes of the July meeting was made by Leo Zeman and seconded by Jay Sippy. Carried. The financial report was reviewed and approved with a motion by Paul Scheidecker and a second by Jay Sippy. Motion carried. Bills were audited and checks # 7567-7581 were approved for payment with a motion by Paul Scheidecker and a second by Jay Sippy. Motion carried. Jay Sippy made a motion to allow Eder Rock Products to take rock and sand out of Lary and Annie Boese's hill for a period of approximately 15 years according to the specifications in document 8-13-08. Leo Zeman seconded the motion. Carried. Jay Sippy made a motion to accept the bid by Cover All of WI, LLC for a 32' X 30' building for a total price of $34,515.00. Paul Scheidecker seconded the motion. Carried. Paul Scheidecker made a motion to hire Perfection Paving to blacktop two culverts on 10th St. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried. Discussion concerning the purchase of a skid steer had been tabled until the September meeting. After setting the agenda for the September meeting, Leo Zeman made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
