BOARD MEETING MINUTES On July 9, 2008 the Board of the Town of Auburn meet for their monthly meeting at 7 PM. The meeting was called to order at 7:08 PM. Those present were Leo Zeman, Jay Sippy, Gene Peterson, and Judy Misner. Andy Beckel arrived at 7:50PM. The minutes of the June meeting were read. A motion to approve the minutes was made by Jay Sippy and seconded by Leo Zeman. Motion carried. The financial report was reviewed and bills audited. Leo Zeman made a motion to approve the financial report and authorize payment of checks # 7551- 7566. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried. Leo Zeman made a motion to hire Dave Misner to paint the Town Hall sign. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried. Operator's licenses for Debi Robinson, Tammy Lowell and Cindy Schwarzhuber were approved with a motion by Leo Zeman and a second by Jay Sippy. Carried. Jay Sippy made a motion to transfer CD # 15656 into checking for the highway fund. Leo Zeman seconded the motion. Carried. Andy Beckel presented the Cover-All building as an option for a future sand and salt storage shed. Leo Zeman made a motion to have a special town meeting to approve spending the amount of money needed for this project, on August 13, 2008 at 6PM, and that a legal ad asking for other bids on this project be posted two weeks before that meeting; and that bids be opened at the next meeting at 7:30 PM. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried. After setting the agenda for the next meeting, Leo Zeman made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Jay Sippy seconded it. Meeting adjourned at 9:25PM.
