BOARD MEETING MINUTES On June 11, 2008 the Board of the Town of Auburn met at the Town Hall for their monthly meeting. The meeting was called to order at 7:38PM. All were present plus Chad Philipps and Kevin Ludwigson. Stephanie Farrington and Linda Peterson attended briefly and left at 8:15PM. The minutes of the May meeting were read and then approved with a motion by Jay Sippy. Paul Scheidecker seconded the motion. Carried. The Financial report was reviewed and a motion to accept the report was made by Jay Sippy and seconded by Paul Scheidecker. Motion carried. Bills were audited and checks #7535 - 7550 were approved for payment with a motion by Jay Sippy and a second by Leo Zeman. Motion carried. For public comment Linda Petersen made an appeal to the Board on behalf of Stephanie Farrington to reconsider approving her operator's license. In her appeal she stated that since that was 15 years ago, and Stephanie is no longer the same person, plus she has also had operator's licenses in other establishments during the ensuing years, she felt she could vouch for her to have no more problems. Based on that appeal and Stephanie's own testimony of being a different person than she was back then, the Board made a decision to reverse their decision. Jay Sippy made a motion to approve Stephanie Farrington's operator's license and Leo Zeman seconded the motion. Carried. A motion to approve the renewal of liqour licenses for Julie Fleischauer of Julie's Roadhouse and Brad Carlson of the White Birch of Wisconsin was made by Paul Scheidecker and seconded by Jay Sippy. Operators licenses for Julie Fleischauer, Tim Hearden, Brad Carlson, Linda Petersen and Megan Wallace were approved with a motion by Jay Sippy and a second by Paul Scheidecker. Carried. Paul Scheidecker made a motion that we pre-pay 1000 gal of LPgas @$2.14/gal. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried. After setting the agenda for the July meeting the meeting was adjourned at 9:10PM with a motion by Jay Sippy and a second by Paul Scheidecker. Carried.
