BOARD MEETING MINUTES The Board of the Town of Auburn met for their monthly meeting at the Town Hall on April 9, 2008. The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Leo Zeman at 6:10 PM. All were present plus Chad Philipps and Curt Fredrickson, Jim Pingel, Dan Steihl, and Mark and Al Blaha. The minutes of the March meeting were read. Leo Zeman made a motion to approve the minutes as read and Paul Scheidecker seconded the motion. Carried. The financial report was reviewed, bills audited and checks # 7481-7517 were approved for payment with a motion by Jay Sippy and a second by Leo Zeman. Leo Zeman made a motion to hire Bob Irwin to be the assessor for the Town of Auburn for the years 2009, 2010, and 2011; to be completed for the sum of $21,300.00; and that this wage will be paid on a quarterly basis. Jay Sippy seconded the motiion. Carried. Leo Zeman made a motion to reject the application for operators license from Stephanie Farrington based on the loss of qualification due to having an arrest record related to drug offenses. Jay Sippy seconded the motion. Carried. A motion to set the date of the spring garbage collection to be on May 24, 2008 from 9 AM to 1 PM was made by Jay Sippy and seconded by Leo Zeman .
