Town of Auburn Plan Commission Meeting Minutes
On Feb 21 2007 the Plan Commission of the Town of Auburn met at
the town hall for their seventh meeting. All members were present.
Also present were Judy Misner, Leo Zeman, Mervin Rediger and Jim
Pingel.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM. Dennis Henry read
the minutes of the previous meeting. Kevin Ludwigson made a motion to
approve the minutes. Lary Boese seconded. Motion carried.
The Commision then heard from Doug Clary from Chippewa County on
their progress in developing a Comprehensive Plan. They have six
townships, two cities and two villages so far that will join them in a
multi-jurisdictional approach to accomplishing a Comprehensive Plan
tailored to each individuals needs.
After discussing the pros and cons of joining Chippewa County in
this process, the Plan Commision felt that the best approach would be
to join them in this multi-jurisdictional process during the Request
for Proposal phase. After this phase we would have the option of
dropping out and going a different route. Clyde Allison made a motion
that Judy Misner contact Doug Clary and inform of our intent. Kevin
Ludwigson seconded the motion. Motion Carried. Judy Misner and Dennis
Henry will the contact persons for Chippewa County.
The next meeting was set for March 28 at 7:00 PM
After setting the agenda for the next meeting, Lary Boese
motioned to adjourn. Kevin Ludwigson seconded. Motion carried.
