August 30, 2006 Comprehensive Plan Meeting Minutes
PLAN COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
On August 30, 2006 the Plan Commission of the Town of Auburn
met at the Town Hall for their first meeting. Those appointed to
the Plan Commission were all present except Bill Buchholtz who
declined the appointment. The following make up the current
Plan Commission: Al Blaha, Paul Scheidecker, Dennis Henry,
Clyde Allison, Wade Latz, and Lary Boese.
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M. The minutes of the
preliminary meeting were read. Al Blaha made a motion to ap-
prove the minutes as read. Paul Scheidecker seconded the
motion.
Lary Boese made a motion to nominate Al Blaha for Chairman
of the Plan Commission. Paul Scheidecker seconded the motion.
Carried.
A motion to nominate Paul Scheidecker as Co-Chairman was made
by Lary Boese, and seconded by Al Blaha. Motion carried.
Paul Scheidecker made a motion to nominate Dennis Henry as
secretary and Al Blaha seconded it. Motion carried.
Copies of the surveys by other townships were distributed and
discussed. It was decided that each one would take home a
copy of the surveys and determine the questions they would
like included in Auburn's survey.
There was some discussion concerning the need for an ordinance
concerning the distance requirement of utility wiring from the
right-
of-way. The consensus of the Commission was that more in-
formation is needed from the Board.
Al Blaha agreed to get census information from Jim Pingel.
The date and time for the next meeting was set for Septem-
ber 20, 2006 at 8P.M.
After setting the agenda for the next meeting Al Blaha made a
motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 P. M. Dennis Henry
seconded the motion. Carried.
