Welcome to the Town of Auburn web site!

So far the only source of Town of Auburn history we have is from the Chippewa Valley Historical Calendar made in 1998 for Wisconsin's Sesquicentennial.  "The River through Time" calendar states that the Town of Auburn was organized in 1873.  It was named after a New York village of the same name, in turn named after a place in the poem "Deserted Villages".

The draft of the proposed ordinances to be discussed at the Plan Commission meeting on May 9, 2012 at 5:30 P.M. and the 7 P.M. Board meeting on May 9, 2012 can be found under the NOTICES link. A copy of the drafts  entitled "Blasting Ordinance, Non-Metallic Mining Ordinance and the Weight Limits of Heavy Vehicles Ordinance" can be reviewed by appointment by calling the clerk or under the notices link.

The Public is invited to send an email to the Town of Auburn, expressing any concerns about the proposed ordinances above
to either:  townofauburn@bloomer.net or pkent@staffordlaw.com by 5 P.M. May 4, 2012.
